At the Gurdwara hygiene and food safety is of paramount importance. Members of the Sangat attended a Food and Hygiene Course. Ensuring that they are up to date with the knowledge and skills to prevent food-borne illness and ensure food safety.

Meeting with Member of Parliament Kerry McCarthy - Aug 25
Valued friend and supporter of the Gurdwara Lakhbir Singh Sheri had the opportunity to meet up with Member of Parliament Kerry McCarthy today. Amongst other things, he asked her to support the Gurdwara's application to sponsor Ghani Ji's again. She was happy to assist and remembered us fondly from when we invited her to the opening ceremony of the Gurdwara.

Awareness and Community Safeguarding Talk - July 25
We had the privilege of welcoming Mohn Singh from the Sikh Awareness Society in our Gurdwara. He attended to give a talk to about the dangers of sexual grooming and how to eliminate this atrocity from occurring.
School Visit - June 25
The Gurdwara welcomed pupils from Castle School in Taunton who visited for educational purposes. They were welcomed by the Gurdwara committee and presented by Minder Singh. It was a pleasure to have 120 students at our Gurdwara to advance their knowledge on Sikhism.

Our Nirman Sewak Jatha Gurdwara hosted a information evening about our 10th Guru on the 4th January 2024 during the Gurpurab
This event was host by Sevadaars from Wolverhampton that explain the history of Guru Ji and the Chaar Sahibzaade Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Zorawar Singh, and Fateh Singh.
The Sevadaars did a Q&A and showed the Sangot some weapons that the Guru Ji would of used.
Members of the Gurdwara also took put in a quiz for the members It was nice to see a lot of Sangot from all ages turn up to learn and take part.
