An Opportunity Has Arisen for the post of Minister of Religion
The duties of the minister will include: Leading religious services, Performing Kirtan, Nitnem, Sukhmani Sahib Paath, Ardaas, Sukhasan duties, giving religious instruction to children and adults, officiating at weddings, funerals and other ceremonies, Counselling and supporting members of the community, Organising and coordinating the work of local volunteers, Supervising staff in religious functions, Teaching Punjabi Classes, Translating religious texts.
LOCATION: BRISTOL UK.
Duration & Remuneration: Salary in line with UK national minimum wage plus reasonable expenses and accommodation will be provided. Employment will consist of 20 hours per week. First 3 months will be probation period. If performance is satisfactory the duration could be extended to 12 Months or 24 Months.
Requirements: Must be able to perform Kirtan and carry out other religious activities as described above. Must be able to read and speak Punjabi. Must have sufficient experience. Clean character certificate required from previous employer. Must have good English reading and writing skills. Applicants need to provide their services at Private homes away from Temple.
